Today we hiked in the Cat Ba National Park and made it to the top of the mountain. Despite the sun hiding behind the clouds it was still REALLY WARM. There are a lot of stair like formations but you have to use hands and feet every now and then to get up higher. Once we *thought* we reached the top we stopped for a pringles break (sour cream, btw) but then turned round and saw there was ANOTHER peak further up. Of course we had to go but it was absolutely worth it for the view:

After the hike we visited a farm stay with a restaurant, Cat Ba National Park is the kind of place that is still in progress and will be a big name in 5 yrs, and enjoyed fried rice and sandwiches.

Upon returning to the village we had a repeat visit to the Yummy restaurant followed by cocktails at Rose bar.
