We started the day by walking around the old town but within 10 minutes we found ourselves buying tailor made shoes (oops!). The process took about twenty minutes to get fitted and choose the leather, and it was definitely cheaper than what you’d pay in the UK. After the shoe fitting we had lunch at our favourite cafe – Hoi An Roastery – whilst overlooking the river.

After lunch we paid a visit to the Old House of Tan Ky, a museum that displays traditional Vietnamese clothes, tools, and activities:

It was then time for our second alteration on our tailored clothes so we trotted back to BeBe and got to business. We were pretty happy with the outcome but a few final touches before pick up needed to be done.

As the weather was 30 degrees plus, we spent the afternoon at the pool and read for hours (I picked up a good read at the hostel). Win!

One of the best restaurants here is ‘Morning Glory’ and they have several different restaurants that are based on the same menu. We went to Cargo for dinner and ordered LOADS. Dumplings, spring rolls, ‘treasure bags’, wonton, and vegetable curry to name but a few.
